Stan Sperlak ~ Avery & Powers Gallery Recent Solo ExhibitionThanks everyone who came to the show. The Gallery hung these beautifully and mixed in their current inventory for a giant show that totaled 60 works. We were all overwhelmed by the turnout, and acceptance of the works. Please also check the Available Works for additional recent works that are also at the Avery & Powers Gallery, my studio, or other galleries. Thanks too to the Crafts & Powers families for such fantastic refreshments. Stan ps. We also apologize for the confusion regarding the opening and when work is available for purchase. In a retail gallery, work is for sale as soon as it is hung, generally a day or two before the artist reception, which is considered a celebration/party. Often there are patrons who cannot make it to a reception due to traffic, or time and the space of the gallery and it sparking just doesn't allow for the holding back until a certain hour for the start of sales. There are also other artists and business being conducted in the gallery, that would make it too difficult to be closed. In the future, we will publicize the dates of the show more clearly versus focusing on the date of the opening reception with the artist. Thanks Again! Avery & Powers Gallery |
